I'm watching VH-1's 50 greatest hip-hop artists. Boy, I'd kill for a half hour with Treach.( just a half hour 'cause I'm old ,don't wanna have a heart attack) And there are so many brilliant folks on,Nas,NWA, Tribe Called Quest...
Been there since Sugar Hill, so it's been interesting to watch the evolution of this thing.I mean from Vanilla Ice ( don't act like you didn't like him back in the day...)to Emminem- I've got a soft spot for crazy white boys,heh!
I'm waiting for some mention of Digable Planets-Rebirth of Slick was the coolest ever, I loved that fusion of jazz and hip-hop,like the way DeLaSoul mixed hippy shit and hip-hop...I likeded them too!
I've got DMX, Mef and Foxy Brown in the car-plus Bowie(slurp)I guess my taste runs all over.I guess I've always like wild shit.(Aw, Missy's on! I love Missy! She's such a freak!)
I like all kinds of stuff on the edge.I love fic like that too. not that I don't adore the well written schmoop,everyone need a little sweet stuff in there life, just gotta balance with ...stuff!
