What I have so far would fit on the head of a pin. I'm wanting very much to throw the mpreg daddies in bed together but I can't even begin to start. Lex keeps blocking Clark. I *want* them to get together, but it's not the end of the story. Maybe I should move the sex to the end? Help! I'm so confused and so stuck!
Forgive me, I've been following Ripley on and off (I don't like Clark/Lex pairing up with other guys; it's me, not you) but I did see the part where Lex thinks Clark's attraction to him might just be biological.
So why is Lex saying no? Maybe he does think Clark's attraction might be only biological (insecurity), or is he mad at Clark for (insert reason here), is he afraid that if they DO get back together, something will happen and Clark will leave again?
And frankly, is Clark trying hard enough? Have him channel his inner Kal for the sexy, turn on the charm, the puppy dog eyes, have him get down on his knees and pour his heart out how much he wants Lex. Do you really think Lex can remain firm (heh) in the face of abject Clark begging? Nah!
So, I went to bed instead of tearing my hair out and lo! The answer here! I think you're right. Can I send you the bit I have? You know, since you won't write it? *sniff*
capnzebbie pointed out that maybe my difficulty was trying to make it shmoopy and I think she's right. Maybe Lex is dragging his heels because he wants to make Clark bark like a dog instead of sing, "Sweet Mystery Of Life."
