Well, nothing may be happening to you, but I just got done reading "I'll Fly Away."
I love your stories, you know that, but I think this one has just surpassed everything. It was so beautiful in that wonderful heartwrenching way that you do so well. I love Smallville's Pete Ross, but I really fell for your Pete. I can't think of a single thing that I didn't love, from his attitude toward the others he was with to Lex, and especially I loved him with Clark.
True love, and such pain at the end. You made me cry again, only because there's nothing I could do to make it all better. It's all happened in the past and you made it SO real.
Oh my goodness, thank you, thank you, thank you. That story is dear to my heart. I cried writing that story *blush* I drew on a lot of research, and some personal memories to write it. (nothing, thank god as extreme as pete's but still...)I love Pete in this story, and I felt sorry for both Clark and Lex. I tried to stay true to the flavor of the times--if it made you sad, than it looks like I succeeded. Thank you again--words like that keep a fragile ego like mine trying to produce. *smile*
