WOW!!! Like me you truly have a love for comics/Hero's. My brother and I have been looking forward to Iron Man for years. Unfortunately... I'm not expecting much. So far when it comes to the true heart and dynamic of a 'Super Hero' A lot of these movies miss the mark. I have a room full of comic books. The love interest's that plauge these films completely confuse me. They take up two and a half hours in a three hour film. Because gosh, everyone knows girls don't read comics....
Back in the day, when I needed comics like breathing, I'd fight to the death over some point or another in a book. I ate, slept, breathed comics...then I had a baby and I had to give them up. *sigh* I've never really got back to them, I just buy the occasional trade, and now it's DC instead of Marvel but I still love my heroes, Silver Surfer, Vision, Killraven, Conan....yeah, I'm reeeeeeeeally old, lol!
Conan...????? OMG YOU LIE!!!!! I thought I was the 'only' girl in the world that brought those novels. My Conan comics saw me through some tough times during my early teens.
