Legion and The Batman

Okay, I confess I actually really liked the new version of Superman on the Legion of Superheroes. It's a very interesting take on the character--he feels like my kind of Superman. :). Poor little Brainiac...so in love and so heart-broken. *sigh*

The Batman continues to veer off from the original premise of the show, as far as I'm concerned. I would have liked to see this progression of a young Batman figuring out the ropes a little slower but I think I'm in the minority. And realistically, I guess he has been around long enough now to be in charge of his little Bat family. By the way--I hate that fucking little Robin. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Teen Titan Robin but this little wiseacre is just not--funny. I like Batgirl much better than I like Robin. I did like Luthor ("Luuu-tor") on the show--isn't it funny how each new version of Lex gets slimmer and slimmer?

Are you telling me that I missed a lovesick Brainiac and a slim-and-sexy Lex Luthor when I slept through Legion of Superheroes and The Batman this morning? *howls in protest* Were they both 'to be continued'? I'll have to set my alarm clock for next Saturday....

They're both continued next week, so be sure to watch and see if Brainiac's love is returned! Poor little thing, he was missing Superman so much!
