That happens to me, too- one night I only got comments from one person and none from anyone else. It was kinda weird.

I'm saying--this hit or miss comment recieving is annoying. Why are they always screwing with stuff that doesn't need to be screwed with? *kicks LJ*

They like to screw with stuff that doesn't need it because then they don't have to worry about stuff that actually needs fixing. Just keeping themselves busy with nothing.

At least you're getting any! LJ stopped sending me notifications -- or any e-mails routed through either of my LJ addresses -- weeks ago for no apparent reason. And now even my "inbox" on the LJ site doesn't list the comments I've received (even though I still have that option checked), so I just have to keep trying to recheck the URLs through my Comments history. ::pouts::

I've stopped getting any e-mails at all! At least I can keep track with the inbox on the site. What the heck is this stupidity?

I don't know, but it's really pissing me off. I posted a Support request and essentially got told I must not have the right options checked, which is absurd -- especially considering I'd already said in my request that I did have everything properly selected and hadn't changed the settings since I've had LJs. I replied back pointing that out and (without naming names) that I'm not the only person not getting LJ e-mails. I have a feeling I'm just going to get a "well, we can't do anything else, check with your e-mail provider again" response.

It's horrible--I don't understand why they don't address this, it's obviously been a problem for a long time, and you are surely not the first person to complain about it. I checked my settings and checked my e-mail settings and there's no mistake on my part. As time goes on, it's getting more and more inconvenient, and plain upsetting!
