So I'm sitting and chilling, trying to get some idea for the two challenges I hopped on board for like a fucking idiot, and I'm watching that Ken Burns Jazz series from a few years ago,and suddenly it hit me--how fucking sexy would Lex look playing a trumpet? Could be a piano, closer to canon--like that ever made a difference to me, hah! We already know the boys look hot as hell in those period clothes...*happysigh*

I like a piano better. I have this sort of *flinch* when it comes to the trumpet because, you remember Dizzy Gillespie? And he blew trumpet and he did it so much and for so long that the connective tissues in his cheeks and jowl area kind of stretched so he always had these huge sort of bull-frog cheeks and stuff and...and...

It makes me hurt to think about it so i don't want Lex to be like that.

LOL!! that's because he did it wrong--that's what my pop told says. Pop played trumpet too, and he's fine!

Lex would look elegant playing piano, but horn is still cooler to me!

Miss Roxy, I've been missing you. I'd put Lex on the piano and Clark on sax, both have such sexy fingerwork. I'd like to see Lois blast some vocals a la Joplin. She is just so wimpy on the show. When are we going to see her strut her stuff? Only in the fanfic is my guess.

Oh, Lois looked pretty hot playing the crooner on the Noir ep of SV. It was a fun episode!

You're right about the crooning--and crashing the Wedding Reception--but I'm so sick of Lana and ready to see Lois start to shine. Also, what do you think of Supergirl? I know she's part of the canon, but she's a lot tougher than I remember her from the comix.

They've taken baby steps towards a focus on Lois, and that's good. They need to amp up the chemistry between Clark and Lois.

As for Supergirl, so far I'm happy with her. I never was that much a fan of her in the comics, but that's because she was such a *girl*! Yeah, I think she could be a very, very good thing for SV--unless they break my heart....*G*

I'd like to see Clark playing the upright bass, because it's the only instrument short of a piano that he doesn't dwarf. :)
