my job is a soul sucking pit of soulsuckiness...
...but that's mostly because the holiday season is creeping up on us. That means new workers who can't find their own asses with a map and a flashlight. Who don't give a damn, and are willing to let the reg workers do it all. Lots of these kids, this will be their first jobs. For some of them this will be the first time they've ever had to do a mother fucking thing. Some of these little fucks will think because I am plump and grey-haired, I'm their granny. To these little assholes I say, hell no. I am not your damn anything--work you little fuck, just like I do. Christmas--bah-what the fuck. What? That's not what Scrooge said? Well, that's what he meant....
Today, I was writing the end of Krypton Boy in my head, and made myself cry. 'Course, I was also folding baby clothes at work today, and that made me cry too, so it might be a hormonal thing.
I read iHero, since it was recced to the moon and back. It really was a great read, though I hated Lex through most of it. I was pretty darn impressed at how much my feelings changed by the end. I'm having to force myself to read the last chapter of What You Sow...It's that goofy thing where I can't read the end because than it will be over forever, and I love it, and don't want it to be over, just like 36 views of mt. Fuji
Yes, I am a nutcase, I know. But thank goodness, I'm a cute nutcase, or Mr. Roxy would have left me at an interstate exit long ago.
