Meeeee!

I feel so blabby tonight! I'm here, I'm there, I'm everywhere! Why, I'm like the Scarlet Pimpernel! But the Leslie Howard version, even though I adored the Anthony Andrews. Gosh, I'm aged....

I'm BOOOOOOOORED. So bored. After a roller coaster shitty emotional weekend, this normal seems...boring. Stupid, hunh? Well, at least I have my story to keep me warm. And the bunnies, omg, the bunnies! It's horrible--I have too many damn ideas, and I want to write them all!

Okay, enough yakking and back to stalking!

Are your plot bunnies techno colored? I always picture mine in bright colors depending on the character. I have a lavender one for Lex. A blue and red one for Clark. A nice black one for Bruce...

And when I'm working on Star Wars, I have this icon to warn me of the evils of plot bunnies.

What sort of bunnies to do you have?

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
mine are entirely boring, not being fuzzy or even mammalian, but more like walking bundles of pointy, stabby letters. They make up for not being cute by being really vicious. ;)

Those sound really scary. Eep!

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
you see my problem!!!

[identity profile] rosy5000.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
Oooo! Bunnies!!!! *pets the bunnies and feeds them carrots*

*hugs*

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
good lord girl--watch out! those bunnies eat human flesh! they must--they're constantly gnawing on my ankles.

[identity profile] rosy5000.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
Awww! I'll protect you... unless there's a good Whitney bunny in there. *grins*

*hands Roxy leg warmers*

The word pimpernel always sounded either a) kind of dirty, or b) like dark, dense bread.

Hope the bunnies ate the boredom.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 05:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I love a nice cup of coffee and a thick slice of pimpernel slathered with butter...heee. I made myself laugh! :)

I am so in love with the Anthony Andrews version, I don't think I could ever stand to see the Leslie Howard [or any other film] version. I saw a musical stage version of it, and I've read the original book, and still Andrews' Pimpernel has the strongest hold on my heart.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah well, it was my first, and you know what they say about your first... :)

[identity profile] dawnybee.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
Anthony Andrews was great, but Richard E. Grant as Scarlet Pimpernel was just so much fun.

Bah on your crappy weekend, woo-hooo for an uneventful day!

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
richard e. grant? I do not know this.

on to work--pat-tooie!

[identity profile] scorpla.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
The Leslie Howard version? Really??

you've never steered me wrong..and yet here I am. Stunned.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
*throws up hands* I was young! Leslie Howard was pretty!!

[identity profile] scorpla.livejournal.com 2008-02-21 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
That's no excuse! I knew Clark Gable was the better man when I was ten. Ok, so wrong movie..but it comes to the same thing at the end.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-21 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
*whines...* but you know I'm shallow--oh all right. How about Anthony Edwards then?

[identity profile] scorpla.livejournal.com 2008-02-21 11:53 am (UTC)(link)
Mmmm...Edwards, lol..

Very tasty

[identity profile] rakshathewolf.livejournal.com 2008-02-23 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
*Gawks at the number of people who know who Leslie Howard is* For the next SP, I nominate...Hugh Grant!

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-02-24 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
lol! right? it's kind of amazing--and oooo, Hugh Grant--yes! *G*
