about the SPN spoiler

I think it'd be wrong for Dean to be back the first show. I could see three or four shows without him--there's a lot that can be done with Sam alone--or cutting back and forth from Dean to Sam. I don't think it's going to be that bad--in terms of screen time for Jensen, I mean. I just hope they don't do a SV and have all the revealing action take place off screen. Chins up, ladies--they write pretty good on that show, I'm sure it won't be as gut wrenchingly horrible as we're all afraid it will be. I'm almost positive.

I'm pretty hopeful, as well. And I definitely agree with you on not solving the Dean-in-Hell problem right away in the first episode. It's a big deal, and they need to make sure they treat it like one. . .

Absolutely. No one wants happy, snarking Dean back more than me--I love him when he's being goofy, and feeling good. But if what happened to him doesn't show, it'll be a huge cheat. I'm all on pins and needles about next season!

I HATE the idea of Dean not being around, but I also hate the idea of him coming back immediately. If he did, it would lose the impact. One of the things I love about the show is the writing and I think it would ruin the tension.

I'm kinda sad that the relationship will change between them, but it's a normal, human reaction. One that has to happen.

I *hate* the idea of it changing their relationship--that's going to tear me up. As long as they don't permanently destroy it.

I hate that idea, too, but there's going to be troubles between them. I think that they'll overcome it, but it won't be easy at first.

You know that once Dean's back, Sam's going to have to angst over the whole thing and blame himself until we all want to smack him. ;)

*timidly raises hand* What spoiler? Where can I go to look for this spoilery thing, just in case I wanted to be, um, spoiled? ;)

Thanks for the link... Of course, now I'm still as frustrated with the not-knowing as before... *sigh* ;)

Yeah, I trust the writers for SPN more than I do for SV. I think they have a limited budget for showing Hell, and I was surprised that we got to see it (but happy in a wicked way). I think it won't be so bad. Now, if Dean could clean up his mouth while he's in hell, then I'd be happy. Bitchskankslutwhoreshithole!

Of course it won't be gut wrenchingly horrible. Kripke saves that for the season closer.

I do trust them, much more than I trust SV. SV always has the best intentions but frequently drops the ball and then insists we remember--"really, sweartagawd it happened that way...while you were in the *bathroom*!"

Not touching that Dean thing with a ten foot pole....
