Today, I had the oddest experience of feeling like I was about to vomit from stress. It was a very odd feeling, because I never vomit. I've occasionally felt the desire but only when I was deathly, deathly ill, just a handful of times in my life. I don't actually remember ever vomiting, but I'm sure I must have when a was an infant roxy. It was such a strange feeling...I was so over the top stressed and afraid. The situation wasn't life threatening, it was only emotionally affecting but man--it was hard as hell to act like nothing was going on. Phobias--they suck. Anyway, it was so weird, I thought I'd share with you.

This vomiting business--it just looks so incredibly god-awful horrible. It takes a huuuuuuuge act of will-power not to run away from the Fam when one of them is vomity sick. Ick. I'm kind of grateful I can't do it.

If you've read to the end of this post, I'd like to also share that I'll be posting porn soon that I've been told by an extremely trustworthy source it pretty hot. Woo-hoo!

i have a friend at my other lj who has a genuine phobia about vomiting. it was very hard for her when her little boy would get sick and barf.

I can't *imagine* a phobia about barfing. How horrible it must have been for her! My things are kind of skirting the edges of phobias but I manage to make it past it if I absolutely, positively have to.

The sort of 'omg, i might be sick' feeling is, in my opinion, *much* worse than the actual being sick. As a rule, if i get sick then i generally feel better afterward, so....it's not so horrible.

Ugh, yeah, vomiting is AWFUL. I did it for nine months with both my kids like three times a day some days. If I never do it again it'll be a billion years too soon.

ACK!! I'm unbelievably thankful I didn't have morning sickness (or in your case--day sickness, poor thing!!). I always felt so bad for my friends who did.

It better not happen again. Sudden nausea is not a good sign for women our age, and yes, you and I are very close in age. I know we are. I'm 46. It's something to keep track of it happens again. I nag and worry because I LOVE YOU!!!! I'm so glad you have us to confide in. ((((Hugs))))
