Awwwww....that totally sucks. I know how I'd feel in your place and yeah I'd be wanting my money back. There's a con over in Sydney in April - within 24 hours of tix being available all 40 of the $1500 premium tix were sold out and all photos ops were gone within the week. If I'd forked out all that and then found out he had to cancel I would definitely cry a little and then stalk down the money back (whether by onselling tix or getting it back off the con ppl). Also probably cry some more so feel free. I'm kinda very curious (okay downright nosy bitch) about what his personal committment is.
