I don't really like Dean being told not to whine - he's not *whining*, he's suffering from ptsd!!
Yeah--that made me grit my teeth--it's almost as if they were listening to the "stop bitching" crowd. Dean's reactions about what he did are entirely believable. He has to be suffering like this, or else he'd be broken beyond all hope, right?
I haven't seen the episode but I saw the title and had to laugh. *giggles madly* ALL of my Muses are amused and wondering why I can't come up with titles like that.
i haven't watched it yet but now i can't wait! i am downloading it now and will probably stay up to watch. hah everyone knows not to bother talking to me at work on friday mornings until i've had 2 cups of coffee. it's worth it for the winchesters!
I thought about that when I saw the clip where Dean says his name was Dean Smith.. I was like is Sammy gonna be Sam Wesson? When I saw it I screamed OMG I SO CALLED IT... my dad just looked at me like I had 10 heads and my pup ran out the room.
Wasn't it fun? Kripe and his writers always work so much into thier scripts. Had a nice giggle over Dean & Sam in elevator scenes, and the 'save it for the gym' scene. Loved the guys double-teaming the ghost and Sam's beat down of the ringing phone.
Didn't much care for the Fixed By An Angel bit. If they were going there, why not simply have had Castiel offer comfort/solace/counseling to Dean in the hospital when poor Dean needed it so badly? Why a whole new angel - a guy as proud as Dean would be more likely to accept advise/comfort for an angel that he knows and trusts rather than a whole new angel. Esp. after the Uriel mess. Loved the 'don't care if you are an angel, I will stab you in the face' line.
Don't much like all that calling Dean 'weak/whiner' stuff when the guy has literally been through hell and got ripped apart inwardly because he did what the angels pressured him to do. All that stuff in the prior ep from Sam, really ticked me off. I wanted Sam to stomp over and discover that Dean had gotten the job done fine without him. I wanted Castiel to kick demon butt. Not Sam saving both.
I had to shy away from your LJ last night till I had witnessed the SPN goodness for myself.
And goodness, that was good! The camera ass-lingering, the eye-fuckage, the exciting porn, the total AU ficness of it--all were wonderful, and then (and then!) they pulled it all right back to front and center in the last scene.
It was a GREAT hour in the fandom. And the squee just goes on and on.

Both shows made me laugh tonight. And SpN's ending wasn't the usual complete downer, for which I am endlessly thankful!
