Do people who write Christian Kane in all those J2 stories even know who the hell he is? They screw him up almost as much as they screw up Michael and Tom. Very annoying.
I have to admit that in one of my J2 AUs I do have him and Jensen being close friends but I kind of needed a certain type of person in the role and he just fit. It's AU it could happen! They're not bff or anything, but he fit so well, especially after I learned some stuff about him later, and I have so much fun with it so I don't care. :P
I do get tired of him being the one that fixes everything or puts up with Jensen's neurotic personality traits. I'm not even sure where those supposed personality traits come form.
Well, I have to confess my pique is entirely personal and kind of petty...I just hate that everyone ignores David. I don't hate that CK is in these stories--I have read stories in which they use him to good effect. And he is hot! :)

Stereotypes are what are driving me insane lately. Fandom canon taking a character, running with it until it becomes 'canon.' It's driving me insane.
