OMG! If someone could explain to me how to post multiple chapters of a story from LJ to AO3 I would be so fucking grateful. Every time I think I've got it I screw it up and it can't be that damn hard--not as hard as I'm making it!!!!
That's what I ended up doing too but it looks like you should be able to import the chapters. *sigh* I am so freaking techno-challenged it's ridiculous.
I never had any luck importing the chapters either. I don't know what the hell was wrong but everything i tried was a disaster. On the import page there is room for up to 25 entires were you copy the url but i could never figure out how to turn that into multi-chap. It make me feel better to know i am not the only one.
It is shit like this that divides the dorks from the geeks ;)

At the bottom of that import page there is a choice, IIRC, asking if you want it to be imported as separate stories or as chapters of a single fic. *goes to look*

I used C/P instead of importing.
