SpN: 7X04

There's a certain scene in that show that I believe is an homage to another great film, somewhat--as has been pointed out recently--like the homage to Kill Bill.

Dig, if you will, this picture....

Okay, I freely admit to being totally stupid and not knowing there was a homage to Kill Bill for which I am deeply ashamed because I love that movie. Which episode was that?

Also, what other movie are you talking about? (I can't watch videos at all, so I will need a helpful reminder via wordses. Damnit. I miss YouTube. *sigh*)

[livejournal.com profile] missyjack posted, comparing a specific scene in Show (7x03) and the film, talked about it's similarities and message.

Also, what other movie are you talking about?

This was purely a silly comparison--it's in the Woody Allen movie, Take The Money and Run (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Take_the_Money_and_Run), a goofy scene in which Woody's character tries to murder someone by running them over--driving a mini-cooper through her house. When I saw that car's headlights in 7x04(i never remember the titles) I *fell* out laughing!

Wow, great catch! I've seen that movie a number of times & it never even occurred to me.

Futurama did an episode about "were-cars" which I thought was the inspiration but both that & the SPN scene must have been inspired by Woody!

Man, when those headlights came on, I screamed with laughter--probably not what I was supposed to do, lol! I never saw the Futurama ep, but when I was a kid, I thought that scene was the funniest thing ever!
