been very sick, actually -- that awful viral cold that turns into bronchitis and/or sinusitis -- but i'm getting better. going to finish nano by turkey day or thereabouts. how the heck are you?! *hugs back while holding breath so as not to cough on you*

My dad's back in the hospital after being sent back to his nursing home for a few days. I'm afraid that this infection is going to end up wearing him down...I'm not sure what's happening, but the nurses don't seem alarmed so I guess I shouldn't be either. It's hard on a guy his age though, plus he does have this tendency to think he's ready to shuffle off this mortal coil every time he gets under the weather. Oy.
oh dear, i'm sorry you've been sick too. this is a misery, and it hangs on.

yes, he was on for, like, two minutes! better than none, and the critics sat up and took notice. the powers behind the show, though, are untrustworthy -- they say they'd like to develop dave's storyline, but i won't believe it till he's actually back in action.
