roxy: (harvey and mike)

Just wondering

Can anyone rec good Suits to me? Good meaning of course angsty as angst cakes drizzled in angst sauce and served with a side of julienned angst? Ha, sorry, it got good to me...*g* Harvey/Mike specifically, because at this point, they are all I care about. I watch it for them. Oh, and Gina because I could watch her read the phone book. The phone book. It's this big yellow book with all the phone num--never mind. Though I could totally see unrequited lust on the part of Louis, who reminds me of a woodchuck, but a completely dangerous one who has rabies.

My SpNBB is 3/4 finished, except for the finishing, kind of epiloguey part which stalled dead in the water like the Mary Celeste, empty of ideas. Why does this always happen to me? Even if I write the ending first. (i do that a lot but it doesn't really help because by the time i've stumbled to an end, most of the time my characters have hijacked the story and run with it).

Off I go to wrestle with the darn thing and then push it all aside to read that second book in the Hunger Games trilogy, wink-wink, nuge-nudge, thanks, a certain someone who loves me. ♥

Me too! And then I'm just mad at myself for wasting time writing an ending I love but can't use.

Uh...I have nothing relevant to say. But I feel your pain!

I did a rec list last August, so that's obviously not up-to-date, but it should help! And this one is so so so so superb!

Thanks a million--great to see you 'round these parts again! :)

I love Suits but I just haven't had any desire to read fanfic for it yet.

Louis, who reminds me of a woodchuck, but a completely dangerous one who has rabies.

ROTFLMFAO! I may never be able to look at him on screen again with peeing myself laughing!

Yeah, it's an on and off thing with me--but recently I was kid of surprised at how much I was looking forward to the new season and how, unlike so many shows people tout, I could really see the hoyay there. ;)

Louis--dangerous woodchuck! *GGG*

I haven't even seen the show yet, but I've been reading Suits fic, and I've got a rec for you. This author does the angst up right: http://www.tasteofpoison.inkubation.net/browse.php?type=categories&catid=48 . I particularly rec "All In," the first story on the list there.

Oooooo, I'm sure I'll enjoy it! :)

I don't watch or read Suits, but sam-storyteller writes it, and Sam's a good writer, so it's probably good stuff.

It's something that's been slow motion sneaking up on me, I read a fic and liked it so now I'm curious as to what's out there! Thanks for the heads up, my dear!

Wheeee! Come wallow with me in Harvey/Mike goodness. The most angsty Suits fic you'll ever read, and which made me cry so hard I couldn't see the computer screen through my tears, is This Tornado Loves You, but there are SO MANY GREAT FICS IN THIS FANDOM.

My favourite author is [livejournal.com profile] thatotherperv (who I also beta for because I am the luckiest person ever!) and her current WIP (needs must) is a 'Mike is a paid sub' AU which is the most glorious thing you should be reading right now.

Anything in my AO3 bookmarks is also worth reading: http://archiveofourown.org/users/mskatej/bookmarks

Or at Delicious: http://www.delicious.com/mskatej/suitsfic

Or for more descriptive recs, my LJ (although I haven't done a recs post in months): http://mskatej.livejournal.com/tag/recs

And of course *shameless self promotion* I've written Suits fic: http://archiveofourown.org/users/mskatej

The only angsty one I've written is The Trip, but it is super angsty (and porny, natch).

ENJOY!!!

lol! Thank you dear one, I look forward to reading these! *koffenablerkoff*

...Louis, who reminds me of a woodchuck...

Dude! - gerbil, dude! *g* Brit me has no idea what a woodchuck is, but yep, gerbil came straight to mind with that guy and his totally unique face :)

I was totally prepared not to like another legal show, but their hoyay was irresistable. It's awesome :) - but I go against the grain a bit in that I actually prefer Harvey on the bottom, so not all that catered to in the slash fic out there. Luckily, I like non-power exchange fic too, where in this case it means a bit power exchange since they've got that boss and puppy vibe and then Mike being a smartarse and turning it a wee bit around sometimes - all good :)

Recs, nobody on my flist in the fandom, so I just went to AOOO and worked my way through. I will check out what your flist has recced, so thanks for that.
