I completely agree with your Dean squee. Our long-lost bamf Dean is back! Hurrah! Not so happy with the Sam thing though, I hope that gets explained better because it makes no sense to me. Kevin is transformed into a mini-badass competent hunter, a new sidekick and friend, which is a good thing, I like it when the boys have someone in the backseat occasionally, it mixes things up. Benny is off to a good start, very intriguing character. Not talking about Amelia though, bleah.
I love Dean being all centered and feeling cleansed--Sam had his cleansing and they better not go back on it, and now, Dean has his and I want to see that self-loathing, border-line alcoholism dialed way back this season.
Something went on with Sam that year and I'm thinking it wasn't all doggy and honey-buns and playing house. That exit was odd, unless she knew he was leaving and agreed. At any rate it's a mystery!
