The ending of my BB has turned into straight porn, hundreds upon hundreds of words of porn. So far, I'm okay with it. Kind of surprised, but hey, what the heck. I'm going with the flow. and now I'm wanting to ladle in some more porn elsewhere. It always takes me a bit but once I get going...porn is good. Also, thanks so much to big_heart_june for the lovely inspiration she provides daily. :D

I'm so yakky today--I was a terror at work, all friendly and affirming to the folks cluttering up my fitting room. "Yass, darling--buy that bathing suit. Show those tattas while they're still showable--what are you, fifty? You've got a good ten years to flash the goods, get on that."

See? Affirming. I also very politely put a stop to a shoplifter, snagged their swag and saved the store, well, not much, about fifty bucks--but still! I WAS BATMAN.
Remind me to tell you some shoplifter stories some day. They're pretty damn amusing.

Maybe, but you gained 5 tons of news ones :P I was afraid to publicize my j2 kink story in case it turned off regular serial readers (without reading it to see how vanilla it really is). But I posted it on AO3 and it got more kudos than all my other stories combined. Go figure.

It's like you can't win for losing. I post stuff absolutely sure I'm going to reel the readers in but noooooooo--but twelve chapters of totally self-indulgent curtain fic racks up points like nobody's business--not that I'm complaining for goodness sake, just sayin'! *koff*

Yeah, if I was going to rank my stories in what I think's their order of merit, it would probably be almost the reverse of the attention they receive. But, much like the stories themselves, I care more about the quality of the response than the quantity and I have some very smart and appreciative readers that I'm very grateful for :) Thing is though, the serial is the only thing I really care about, and the majority of people aren't going to take on a reading commitment that huge. In fairness, I wouldn't myself.

Thank you :) See what I mean about having readers I can really appreciate? :)) I'm actually a very poor reader myself, though, because I prioritize writing, so I usually pass over anything longer than 3000 words! But if I only spent my procrastination time reading instead of aimlessly faffing about, I'd get so much more achieved! :P

I've realized there's a serious hole in how I tag the serial that means regular readers don't have a way of tracking when I've started a new episode. I'm fixing that now by adding a tag that's just plain "serial" without specifying a particular episode.

Ack, you know what I mean about shoplifters! I hate dealing with them, you have to be so careful! I find it helps if I treat them like I'm totally confused by their larceny, surely they didn't *mean* to fill the legs of those jeans with underwear and makeup...? Yeah, I don't get it, underwear is a HUGE theft item. *shrugs*

Really? I'm not terribly squicked by anything featuring consenting humans but sometimes I think that's more due to my weird take on social interactions more than anything else. I will be much better about tagging things in the future--starting with this years BB! :)

Yup. Like I said, I don't know why. Maybe it's because I'm asexual and experience 'sexy' things in a different way anyway, or because I'm hyper focussed on Jensen/Dean when I'm reading fic, or maybe because of something else entirely... who knows. Thank you so much! I've gone from reading like 3 fics a day to maybe one every 3 days because I just don't want to run into unexpected surprises and almost no-one tags who tops or bottoms in NC17 fic. :)
