"I got blisters on my fingers!!!!!!!"

I was blissfully unaware of Katy Perry until a few days ago, and now, I hate her and her candy covered dress with a fiery hate that is only surpassed by the searing pain in my fingertips which I have burned with hot glue over and over, to the point where sympathetic looks have changed into "omg, how are you so stupid?" looks. If my niece (the one with a Katy Perry loving child) ever doubts my love, I will kick her ass, and then cover her with little plastic cupcakes. Which I will hot glue to her.

I used to use the high temp professionally and the water will drop the temp immediately, ice water is great if feasible. I have a scar on my forearm where I laid it onto the gun and then immediately proceeded to pull the hot glue off. Not wise. :(

*kisses boo-boo*

Oh wow, that's almost--*almost*--worth the burn! I didn't know you could do stuff like that with the glue! Eh, I'm crafting challenged anyway. Which makes me wonder why *I* got picked to make the costume. I must of been the only one who didn't sprint for cover....
