ouch. and other rambly stuff.

My nose and eyeballs hurt like a bastard--I got clipped in the shnozz by Mr. Roxy a few days ago, by accident of course. Man--it's amazing how baaad that felt. I mean, you see it happening to other folks and you know it's bad but boy--you can't imagine how stomach curdling bad it is. I almost cried like a little bitch! It's hard to say if stabbing yourself or getting whacked in the nose is more hurty. I've stabbed myself a couple of times--cutting carpet and slicing something that ended up being my finger. *shudder* That was really bad, that was...*shakes head* Those were the two times I ended up in the emergency ward. Boy Howdy, was that a fun time explaining what happened, especially when I could see they didn't believe me.

I guess it's just a sign old age is sneaking up on me that I can't throw off the owies like I used to. It's kind of depressing. Once I would have just walked it off and gone about my biz, now I whine for days.(okay, whine more) Sad, isn't it? It's just like Mick said, what a drag it is getting old. Well, except for the flirting with young guys bit--that's a pretty good trade off.
Can't wait 'til I'm old enough to pinch asses and get away with it! *grin*

Awww Roxy! How terrible to have this pain plus the embarassment of not being believed at the hospital. This world we live in today has taken away the plausibility of simple accidents and now everything is someone's fault. I hope the pain doesn't last for too long. I bet your poor husband feels terrible.

He did feel terrible at first but I may have overplayed it just a bit, now he's just rolling his eyes. *grin*
