Paul Walker, maybe? Vin Diesel? with all that testosterone and butch-ness, maybe he could rationalize it to himself at first, yeah?
Or good ol' Brad and Johnny. . . they never fail. I have quite a few guy friends who are assuredly straight, but they're also all open-minded -- I wouldn't hang out with anyone who wasn't -- and they all agree that both Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp are good looking guys!
You know, I've pondered that before, mucho deeply, and I just couldn't think of anyone but MR. Whereas in the case of Lex, he is like a black dress and I have no problems throwing big men at him.
So I'll be very interested to know the outcome of your research. *nods*
What movie actor would Clark think was hot, if Clark thought guys were hot?
Heee! If. You make me laugh.
I'm thinking someone Midwestern-y like himself. Someone who is just a solid type of guy, not too pretty so maybe Jake Gyllanhaal (but I think he's ugly) or James Marsden (because Clark can't say that he watched X-Men because it's a good film).
The obvious answer would have to be Michael Rosenbaum! ;D
But I can't help but hope he'd like Harrison Ford. I mean, with Lex being such a sci-fi geek, they had to have watched Star Wars constantly, and how can you not love Han Solo?
With his mom's influence, you know Martha had to watch old movies with him so... Tyrone Power, James Dean (who doesn't love Jimmy?), and Paul Newman (it's all in the eyes *grins*).
I think Clark and Dean Cain make a really pretty picture together...and I definitely agree with the James Marsden suggestion...and maybe Oded Fehr...he's big and dark and has that yummy accent...Maybe Viggo or Karl Urban or Sean Bean from the LoTR trilogy...
I think Jason Statham would be just Clark's type. Of course my current obsession is John Simm from Life on Mars and Dr. Who. I could see fun with Clark watching Dr. Who and wondering why he has a hard-on for the evil maniac trying to destroy the world.
I've thought about it some more and have come up with this -
Clark doesn't understand it, but for some reason Leonard Nimoy as Spock gets him hot. He decides he must be attracted to the lean and intelligent. When he discovers that Michael Rennie who plays the alien Klaatu, in that old movie The Day the Earth Stood Still gets him going, too, he adds dark-haired to the list.
It's only when Clark gets hard watching E.T. that he decides he has a problem.

And the guy from "Sorority Boys". You know, the one with the "big butt" who made a really pretty girl.
