She's 13 now. The icon was her at age 10 - this one is her now.
I do think she is briilliant (it's possible I'm somewhat prejudiced) but "inexplicable" was in a book I was reading to her, so perhaps is not evidence of brilliance :-).
This is me whenever I'm around my sister. Who is 38 yrs old. Sadly, she's passing this trait on to her children: recently, her 14 yr-old daughter accused me of making up the word "studious." I kid you not. They (sister and offspring) also have a habit of adding an extra "-ed" to words already ending in "-ed." Like, "I wanteded that." Yes, it scares me. Yes, I have a special hanky set aside for times when they make me weep for the future.
