LOL! A real life (but cute, rather than idiotic) version of this was my youngest at 8 asking me "What does inexplicable mean?"

Me: Can't be explained.

I would KILL to have my 8 yr-old niece know a word like "inexplicable" EXISTS, much less ask me what it means!

She's 13 now. The icon was her at age 10 - this one is her now.

I do think she is briilliant (it's possible I'm somewhat prejudiced) but "inexplicable" was in a book I was reading to her, so perhaps is not evidence of brilliance :-).
