My Muses are growling about there'd better not be any more unpleasant vacations for awhile.
Though Hiatus means I can desperately try to finish the epic before new eps start! (Have to look at the positive while trying not to cry all over the place)
Ha! Screw the ep! Their universe and mine only meet by coincidence! I'm going to quit waffling around and send it to you right now. I'll send where I stopped in LJ, because I'm almost positive that I've made major changes to the old stuff. If not, skim away!
Also, this episode kept me thinking that Castiel may have a serious thing for Dean, like Ruby's thing for Sam. And why on earth didn't Sam pull Dean into his arms in that last scene? *flails*
I stayed tough and didn't cry. I wibbled pretty bad and was mentally screaming DEAAAANNN!!! (coz the neighbors would wonder what the heck was going on if I actually did scream) but I didn't cry! Course the fact that Jay told me I'd be a mess afterward kept me quiet. I couldn't let him be right ;)
Why didn't Sam hug Dean? (read the question on another comment) I think if he had, Dean would have either punched him or stopped talking. I think it would have made everything worse for Dean. Later, they could do the manly hugging thing, but right then, I think Dean would've lost it.
Either that or Sam was in total horror/awe of Dean's confession and just didn't know how to react. He was affected. That was obvious though the scene didn't show much of him. Maybe Sam just couldn't process what was going on. Even when their dad died, Dean didn't break down like that.
