This is interesting--well, mostly to me--and funny, I think! tonight, BG and I had an argument over who was the better looking, Thomas, or Jensen. I was kind of tickled to even have a conversation like that with her! We disagreed, she thinks Jensen is better looking, and while he is a pleasure to look at, Thomas wins in my book. I *love* Jensen, omgoodness so much, but Thomas? Oh my lord--he's supernaturally good looking. (see that? I know! *snorfle*)

See i find that one a hard one to call because i think each men are undeniably beautiful men. But i guess if i had to go for supernaturally beatiful, then i'd have to say Tom, theres something about him that i can't quiet put my finger on that makes him standout against mere mortal men lol.

There are people on my flist that would kill me for saying this but which one is better looking? I have to admit that I go toward Tom. They're both amazingly hot, but Tom not only hot but he's got that whole innocent look going for him. Which makes me want to corrupt him. Not that I'd turn Jensen down if he asked or hinted or even just glanced at me.

Tom, definitely. Jensen is extremely pretty, but as you say, Thomas is *supernaturally* pretty. Frankly, I think it's partly due to his more ethnically mixed background -- the technical term is "hybrid vigor".

Whilst Jensen is absolutely gorgeous and extremely attractive and I find him very...appealing :) Tom is in a whole 'nother echelon of beauty...there really is no other who comes close to him in terms of an aesthetically pleasing physical male form. It's like he's completely flawless (which is ridiculous I know) and it's definitely that supernatural element!

Eh, to me it's like comparing the sun and the moon. They're both lovely celestial bodies and perfect in their own place. (Though if pressed I might concede TW is aesthetically lovelier but JA is sexier. Though sexier is of course in the eye of the beholder.)

To me there's no question at all! Tom is the most beautiful man I've ever, ever seen! (Big surprise here, huh?) He's not only gorgeous, he's got that something special that made me fall so hard for him and that I can't find in any other man, no matter how good looking they are.

(And in this case the choice was even easier. Sorry but JA does nothing for me. He's just not my type)

Oh, Jensen has that something something that turns my head, but Thomas has this kind of--angelic quality to him, and I think it's the eyes. Jensen has gorgeous eyes, but Thomas' are so soulful, y'know?

I started watching Smallville because I have a thing for Superman and I wanted to see what they could do with him as a boy. I stayed because of Tom. Michael was also a draw. The Clana angst grew old VERY fast, the fact that none of them matched the age they were playing made it hard to suspend my disbelief for the hour, but none of it mattered since I got to watch Tom. He is why I stayed after Michael left.

I have to agree with a couple of other commentors - Jensen does nothing for me. I have tried to watch SpN a few times and have no interest in the show or the actors. It surprised me because that is the kind of show I usually enjoy.

Really? Oh man, I LOVE SpN. I think it's smart and well written and beautiful to look at and the leads are so pretty. I started watching the show thinking nothing bad was going to happen--that'd it be Rift-free. Yeah. So much for that.

I've been thinking about it since I left the post and I think the reason I can't get into it is because it is a serial show. Until this year I didn't get the CW (or the WB before that) so I didn't see it from the beginning. I had the same problem with SV at first, but since it was Superman I was willing to buy the DVDs - show unseen. I don't do that with anything else. The few SpNs I've seen this year, I wind up feeling lost.

Shows like "Buffy" and "Xena" were the same until I could see them from the beginning. Shows like these and SpN just have so much history in the past episodes.

Tanti TQ talks the sense. There is no denying that Tom Welling is pretty stunning, and becomes more so as he blossoms into hot manhood. He's good for looking at, admiring, appreciating.

But Jensen--I mean, holy cow, that pic spam was deadly amounts of sexy. He's hands-on, full-contact, car-backseat, seven shots of whiskey, grab n' grope I-swear-I-was-wearing-underwear-last-night hotness, that's what he is.
