This is interesting--well, mostly to me--and funny, I think! tonight, BG and I had an argument over who was the better looking, Thomas, or Jensen. I was kind of tickled to even have a conversation like that with her! We disagreed, she thinks Jensen is better looking, and while he is a pleasure to look at, Thomas wins in my book. I *love* Jensen, omgoodness so much, but Thomas? Oh my lord--he's supernaturally good looking. (see that? I know! *snorfle*)

I started watching Smallville because I have a thing for Superman and I wanted to see what they could do with him as a boy. I stayed because of Tom. Michael was also a draw. The Clana angst grew old VERY fast, the fact that none of them matched the age they were playing made it hard to suspend my disbelief for the hour, but none of it mattered since I got to watch Tom. He is why I stayed after Michael left.

I have to agree with a couple of other commentors - Jensen does nothing for me. I have tried to watch SpN a few times and have no interest in the show or the actors. It surprised me because that is the kind of show I usually enjoy.

Really? Oh man, I LOVE SpN. I think it's smart and well written and beautiful to look at and the leads are so pretty. I started watching the show thinking nothing bad was going to happen--that'd it be Rift-free. Yeah. So much for that.

I've been thinking about it since I left the post and I think the reason I can't get into it is because it is a serial show. Until this year I didn't get the CW (or the WB before that) so I didn't see it from the beginning. I had the same problem with SV at first, but since it was Superman I was willing to buy the DVDs - show unseen. I don't do that with anything else. The few SpNs I've seen this year, I wind up feeling lost.

Shows like "Buffy" and "Xena" were the same until I could see them from the beginning. Shows like these and SpN just have so much history in the past episodes.

Hee thanks. I found it doing a Google image search to help ellyfanfiction yesterday. I fell in love with it right away. Also, doing an image search for a TW picture was sheer torture. *G*
