I'm Back!

The wedding was...mmm. Rare. My stars. I'm not going to speak ill of the wedded. Let me just say if it wouldn't have been impolite to laugh out loud, I'da been laughing my ass off. But I'm not rude. I'm bitchy as fuck, but I'm not rude. I kept that laughter to myself and went in the bathroom to pee myself chortling like polite people do.

Oh hush up, ya'll know you do the same.

Look at you, being all lady-like! Better than I! I once had the misfortune of attending a wedding that involved the bride serenading the groom during the ceremony, followed by her coming too close to an open flame with an overly-hairsprayed 'do and thus (briefly) catching fire. I laughed my ass off, very impolitely, and was glared at by the parents. Oh, did I mention she was one of my brother's exes? *snicker snicker*

So glad you survived the process, Snuggles! You're turning into quite the social butterfly! ;)

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Okay, all bets are off when it's flaming brides--I challenge anyone not to laugh!!!

I *HATE* being a social butterfly. No more socializing for the rest of the month. *waves scrawny little fist of fury*

All the old bitties gasped loudly, and neither the priest nor the groom had a clue what to do or where to put his hands. I got the feeling even then, and the couple in question is divorced now, that she wore the only pair of pants in that relationship, and the poor schmo getting hitched was probably hesitant to mess up the coif. Finally, it was the organist who got up, tottered over, took off her jacket, and then proceeded to smother the bridefire. I'm just glad my mother didn't attend with me because she would have cackled and applauded, and the death-glares were pretty intense already. No sense of humor, those folks!

I think me and your mom would get along pretty good! :)

Omg, it was like a smashup of Bridzilla and one of those reality shows featuring a rapper--any rapper. I was all um. Um. Um. My goodness. You should never attend a wedding looking like "after the reception, I gotta hit the corner and make that money..."

This entire exchange left me fairly elated to realize I am not the only human being on the planet who finds most weddings... weird.
Like I get why people get married and want to celebrate, but why do you need a cranky anti-social bitch like me there?!
Can't I just wish you luck on facebook and call it good? And if I have to come why can't I bring my computer and sit in a corner ignoring people. If I could do that I might actually like weddings :D

Edited repeatedly to counteract bad spelling and parenthood induced brain!fail (sorry)

LOL! I like the way you think! I slipped my kindle in my purse, all loaded with fanfic, but sadly, I couldn't comfortably slip away.... ;)
