[identity profile] ferdalump.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
I KNOW!!!

(do you read spoilers?)

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
I usually do kind of pick over them but this I didn't see.

[identity profile] ferdalump.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
As far as I know it didn't say anything about this (at least I didn't see it) but it is telling of things to come...

[identity profile] myownghost.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
i got home from a dinner party too late to watch. what happened? (i don't care about spoilers.)

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Chloe used her Brainiac power to mind wipe a mutant who found Clark's secret!

[identity profile] myownghost.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 08:55 am (UTC)(link)
that's terrible. she's way off the deep end, isn't she?

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:53 pm (UTC)(link)
It's Brainiac's fault! Chloe can do no wrong! Sort of. :)

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Hokey smokes--Chloe used her Brainiac power to mind wipe a mutant who found Clark's secret!

[identity profile] selinamoonfire.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
I thought it was Clark that was going to do the mind wiping.

*just had to use the icon*

[identity profile] selinamoonfire.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
LOL Maybe if Chloe is the ebil mastermind things will finally work out!

[identity profile] sussixer.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
WHAT I'M ABOUT TO SAY IS ABSOLUTLY SPOILERY!!!!!!!

Did Chloe just kill someone?!!?
I could have sworn that's what she did. WTF? Why would she think that Clark would like that or why would Chloe ever do that? I think brainiac is mixed up in this more than we realize. Maybe we've lost Chloe already and we just haven't realised it yet? :(

Also, I'm watching SPN and Dean just said he'd come back as a young cheerleader if he was a centuries old witch. HAHAHHAHA! The look that Sam gave him, haha, priceless. As Dean continues to drool over the fact that he'd be a gorgeous female cheerlaeder, or a least dressed up as one, Sam gives him this look of encredulity like, "Why would I wan't you to be a girl?" So cute!

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
No, I don't think she killed him, I think she used her power to mind wipe him--every bit as bad. :( I think she's a lot more Brainiac than she knows.

That bit in SpN was cuuuuute! :)

Dude! Is this SV hysteria? Did they make Chloe do something *evol*???

WTF!!

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
YES!!! How *could* they??? Poor Chloe. SV is actually not bad this year, now that I don't have to grind my teeth over the way they fucked up Lex's character.

I could *not* believe my eyes! I mean - she's supposed to be...supposed to be......NOT THAT!!
Wow.

[identity profile] helioshyperion.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
I can see it. It's going to do terrible things to her, but at the end, when she's leaving, you can see how awful she feels. I do believe she'd do anything to protect Clark, though.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, true--she's been leading up to this since the end of last year, what with just about comparing Clark to God and what-not. It's terrible!

(Anonymous) 2008-10-31 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe he's not dead. Maybe he's just mindwiped back to infancy!

God, it's so sad that's the good option. :)

I think she burned his brain out--and yeah, sucks that that's the good option. :(

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
DID YOU SEE??? *furious pout*

[identity profile] frelling-tralk.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
I can't watch live *sniffs*, but people have given me a recap of the episode. At first I thought it was all Brainiac, and then people said it was more Chloe simply using the powers that Brainiac gave her *head is spinning*

[identity profile] nataliadarimini.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
I tuned in a couple minutes early for SPN and my eyes about fell out of their sockets. Not least because I was of the impression that Chloe did not have any special powers, but I guess you get left out of the loop when you only read schmoopy clex fics and don't even watch the show?

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, that shit came out of nowherer for me--that comes of staring at Thomas like he's the rising sun and forgetting about anything else. :)

[identity profile] jakrar.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
Checked in here hoping for talk about tonight's Supernatural (which I found fascinating, despite some queasy-making moments), but instead I was surprised by the reaction to Smallville. Admittedly, I'm not watching SV anymore, but while I was, I took note of Chloe repeatedly trying to talk Clark into murdering Lex in cold blood -- despite the fact that, while in his right mind, Lex had never done anything to try to harm Clark. How is it a big step from repeatedly urging a friend to commit unprovoked premeditated murder to personally mind-wiping someone? Chloe's ethics have been questionable for quite some time.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:59 pm (UTC)(link)
It's true, and my feeling is that whatever bit of Brainiac is in Chloe's mind has also led her to be able to justify mind-wiping that guy as a good thing. Her attachment to Clark has been completely twisted, and Clark may act like he's clueless but this has been bothering him for a while. Once he gets his feelings sorted out about what his place in the world is, I think he's going to confront her.

[identity profile] phoenix-turtle9.livejournal.com 2008-11-02 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe he'd confront her. Maybe he'd just accept it as not nice but necessary. I know I'm going to end up being hated over this, but Clark's ethics aren't exactly pure and untainted either. He's done some things to protect his secret that make me... anyway, if he does blow up at Chloe, it would be hypocritical, in my opinion. But then he's a hypocrite, too, so....

[identity profile] suzvoy.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:08 pm (UTC)(link)
THAT WAS SO COOL.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 01:44 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah, it kind of was. :)
