Thanks for all your comments and thank you for your concern. I hope that few of you who were in the path of this thing were hit with problems. Right now, I'm at the library, warm and cozy and filling up on power and their wifi. The diner up the street finally was able to reopen and I had HOT breakfast,yay! Who woulda thunk I could get tired of pop-tarts! I know, right?

we have a generator that we're running a few hours a day in a bid to keep the food from spoiling so last night, Mr. R hooked it up at 9:00 and I got to watch some of show before the darn generator threw a shoe. Most of it I caught, enough to say that if watchers still had complaints that they should just admit to themselves they've fallen out of love with Show. It's okay, it happens. Was the ep amazing? I'll answer because we wont be able to talk until next week--YES. IT WAS.

It was everything I hoped for and I loved everyone, even Sam's girlfriend because let's face it she was kind of cool and not bad looking either. Thanks you Show's makeup artists, for not making her look like a hooker zombie which is what you do to most female guests but those are my issues. Benny...PUUH-LEEEEEEZZZ to not be breaking my heart because I LOVE you! Omg, that whole silent communication thing was so GOOD. Yes!! Lots of excellent brother stuff last night. When I get a chance to see all of it, I will have more to say. I'm just going to sign off saying, Sam called the dog DOG? Hahaha! Even they thought that Sam would do such a thing, and I bet for pretty much the same reasons I had--he refused the committing, even to a doggy. I wonder if the chick he's ever so not stalking was the one who named the dog? Or guilted him into it. That works too. :)

I'm glad to hear that your safe and well babes, even if you are sick of pop-tarts and only have a few hours of power. The main thing is you made it out the other side of that horrid storm and that you managed to get a hot meal into yourself.

Admittedly I haven't watched Supernatural for a long while now so I have no idea what you're talking about, but I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of it, even if the generator kicked the bucket part way through.

Glad to hear you're muddling along; best wishes for things getting better ASAP.

I absolutely LOVED this week's ep, in a way that I haven't enjoyed one in a while. And I don't think it's just because I was seriously underwhelmed by the previous week's episode. (Not that I'm complaining about that one, or the season in general, for that matter. It just wasn't my thing, and there's always one or two of those in every season.) 1) The conversation/bitching at each other/arguing at the beginning was ever-so perfectly sibling to me. 2) I usually don't care much about the supporting cast, but I'm really enjoying the Benny storyline, both as it relates to his own past and to his relationship with Dean. (I just wish I could understand what the hell he's saying without having to run the recording back three or four times every time he speaks.) 3) Amelia is...more problematic. I hated her at first, but I think we were supposed to. Even this episode when she started in on Sam, I gasped aloud and yelled "Bitch!" at the screen, just sort of in shock at her behavior. (I was overcome. And watching alone, which rarely happens. What can I say?) I can see it kind of working between them, though, in a way that Dean/Lisa—or even Sam and Jess—never really did, and I think it's because she isn't really "normal." I'm glad she's a little off, because Sam had his "normal" with Jess; it's already been done. I still want to see Sam mourning Dean, but I'm getting more and more excited about where the season is going.

what I saw was so good, it was almost perfect. That Sam and Dean stuff was the answer for all the folks bitching about their relationship. To me, it was the way I believe them to be with each other. Maybe the separation was what they needed after all that mess built up between them--not that I think they healed, but maybe they're at a place where they can be honest with each other. Anyone who thinks they don't *care* about each other, though--I think we can put that to rest. ;)

We managed to salvage quite a bit from the freezer so we were really lucky. But trash pickups not for another few days and it's not quite cold enough to keep things from getting aromatic, if you get my drift. Gotta say, there are a few good things about losing power closer to winter than summer. :)

I'm so glad you loved it because I was just floored by it! Even though they're still bitching each other out, it felt like...healthy bitching, you know? Snarky and funny and sarcastic, with a lot less trying hard to be siblings and just *being*.

I get *very* vocal when I watch alone. Very giving of instructions and advice. *ahem*. I saw that Amelia seems a bit off the beam and I agree with you. Normal isn't going to work for either of them. If it's not each other they spend the rest of their lives with, then the women they choose are going to have to be unique. Not someone like Lisa, she was too whitebread--that relationship was doomed to end bad. Souless just hurried it along.

Benny fascinates me. I know folks want to throw him back in the pool but it's cool to see Dean with a friend, someone who seems to get him. Everyone screaming about how dare Benny get in the way of the Sam Cas whatever should chill--we all know that Dean's friendship is the equivalent of Sam's PenisofDoom.

Ha! I hadn't really thought of it, but you're right.

Speaking of Cas, that's another thing I enjoyed about the ep: the interaction between Cas, Benny and Dean in the Purg. It's also one of the reasons I like Benny—his sardonic comments regarding Cas' detrimental effect on their escape (and his dry manner overall) and the arguing between them, followed by Dean's "You two are killin' me!" I lol'd so much at that. And Cas' "I must agree with the vampire." THIS is the Castiel I enjoy.

I just watched the entire show at the CW site and caught that bit. Yes, I *very* much enjoy this Cas--he's like a mix of early Cas and 'starting to get the human stuff' Cas. I love that he and Dean are working so well together, and that Dean respects Cas again. I like that Benny is so unimpressed with both of them and love that Dean steps in like the big brother mediating the situation. I wish we could have tons more like this ep. *Everyone* was shown off to best advantage.
