I think, between me and you, we're seeing the twilight of SpN fandom. It's a huge fandom so it doesn't look like it's fossilizing but yeah. Been there with SV, already gone through that slow, downward slide in terms of amounts and quality of posting. A lot of stuff is being written lately by folks who seem like they're only using other fic as source material, or only the kink meme. There's some godawful characterization out there, lovey. That's why I'm reading more J2 than SpN these days. Jared and Jensen, I don't know who the fuck they are. Who knows what they're like? So, any reading of them is a-okay with me!
