my new glasses are making the world such an interesting place. so far, I've misread linguini as lingerie, thanks for that arresting image, daisydumont, and cha's sighting of nine deer as mice deer, which took me a moment because my ever-so-helpful brain flashed mule deer, so possibly mice deer? at me. Thanks Brain, thanks a bunch.

That's funny. I just got new glasses too. They are the same prescription as my old ones yet they give me a monster headache 5mins after putting them on. I also notice when I turn my head, w/e I'm looking at sorta flexes back and forth like it's warping around the edges. So not good for my vertigo...

You're scaring me. My prescription has changed drastically and I have an appointment coming up. I was actually looking forward to being able to see again...and then you reminded me of the "adjustment period." Pfah! Why can't we all have magically excellent eyesight? (And where's my flying car?)
