I feel like I just watched two episodes: an interesting, exciting, emotional one about Mama Tran and Kevin, and a really boring, expositiony one about the politics of heaven.

I'm throwing away the worser half and just chanting "OMG you guys better keep your last promise to Kevin."

I'm hoping that Dean is purposefully giving Sam space to think, but I'm guessing he's actually hiding. I think that Sam feels that it's pointless to talk to Dean considering Dean's reactions in hte past but eventually one of them is going to break. I'm very much hoping that Dean asks Sam to explain and actually listens, and that Sam explains with all his words.

This could be what Cas considers redemption, but Cas has not handled a leadership role very well so far. I would love to see Cas lead and actually do a good, balanced job of it. Failing that, I'm okay with him hanging out with the Winchesters. I have no idea what role Cas would have if he does go back and clean up heaven--where would he fit into the Winchesters lives?

I loved the Mama Tran stuff, but I didn't hate the Castiel stuff. I'm curious to see where they go with the Heavenly Defenestration . I hope they don't carry it on to next year unless it impacts directly on the Winchesters, say, keeping them out of heaven. Otherwise, yes, it's not very interesting heaven politics.

I'm constantly watering up because of Show. I've got my fingers crossed that we're going to get them to some kind of understanding before next season. I'm just worried that Dean might be so tainted by that curse that he goes "Cain" on Sam. *nibbles nails*
