Everyone should witness the peculiarity of a working really sitting atop a broken one. My grandparents had a a working TV sitting on their old huge wooden console that had a record player built in. I never questioned it and it was good and all was right with the world but now it's madness with these slim TVs!

I was considering getting myself a little countertop b&w, one of those portable babies like I had back in, oh, 1981. Was I ever surprised when someone told me you can't find those at all anymore. What the hell? I'll go sit out on the stoop and whittle for entertainment.
