I'm home again, still dazed...what a weekend! What an eye-opener!

I spent the best weekend with blackrabbit42, tifaching, and firesign10, who are incredibly kind and just absolutely amazing women! Thanks you guys, for being so good to me! Thanks for keeping me from flying to bits, lol!!

This weekend was exciting, nerve-wracking, a little overwhelming but incredible! Guys, if you get a chance to go to a con, take it! even if you're terrified, take it! It's so worth it, and trust me, the folks around you will see you through! ;D

It was really wonderful to meet you too. I have a hard time reconciling my impression of you with your statement that the weekend was nerve wracking and overwhelming. You seemed so calm! I was actually thinking, wow, this is a woman who really has her shit together, I need to take a page out of her book.

YES!! \o/ I am SO glad you and your fangirl cronies had a great time.

Cons are AWESOME, and I'm so happy that you had a good time and got to hang out with such lovely ladies as you did. ♥ Cons are awesome! Go for the opportunity to see J2 up close and personal . . . stay for all the fun friendships you'll forge during the experience. And yes, fandom is supportive as hell. (Trust me, I'm not the most outgoing person in RL, but during my last con, I was in line for a Jared photo-op, and the girl in front of me -- a total stranger at the time -- was shaking to pieces. I thought she was going to break down, and I was determined that she'd not miss out on the Padalecki Pretty by passing out -- so I started talking to her about Show and the guys and yanno, how darn gorgeous they are, and ultimately, she was fine. And yes, we stayed in contact..) :D

So. When's the next con? :D
