I thought this ep was really well done and the new writer (which I did not realize until after) did a great job! Lots of nice brotherly bits, lots of thinky bits, a "you're a couple, right?" joke that I thought was really cute. Work wiped me out yesterday so I had a hard time not falling asleep during the ep (crashed like a crashing thing right after), but believe me, sleep was not due to a lack of interest. I look forward to seeing other eps by this person. Felt like she had a pretty good handle on the brother dynamics.

I was a bit disappointed that the Lizzie Borden motif was completely dropped in favour of the Darkness - but the writer does have a nice hand with dialogue and Len was an interesting character. Season's off to a good start.

The episode was great! The new writer has a terrific grasp of the boys and of what Show is supposed to be about -- I absolutely adored the old-school vibe. Most definitely looking forward to more from her.
