That's it--I'm done. I can't watch it anymore. I'm going to just spoil myself and watch the show when the season's over. It's not that it's not well-written--it is, boy is it ever--but the tension and the horror and all of it is just too much for me! I just CAN'T! I have so little idea about what happened tonight because I was watching with my fingers in my ears and my eyes squinted nearly shut. I know it's supposed to be bad, but I don't think a TV show has ever tripped all my "I can't do darkfic" buttons like this. So, see ya, TWD. I'll catch up with you again when everybody has discussed every little thing to bits, so I know which parts to cover my eyes and yell, "LALALALA!!!" at.

You were a stronger soul than me, cos you know I tapped out after the season opener. It is such a great show, but it's damn hard to watch.

Somewhere around the beginning of season 3 for me :P The suspense is what scares me the most. I've heard it is excellent for anyone who can see past all the scary. I guess that's what many people think about SPN :P

I absolutely loved it, but I was completely spoiled for what Negan was gonna do. I was okay with it in a twisted way because that person had it coming, and it was a moment straight of the comics that I was kinda looking forward to. Plus the Daryl and Rick reunion hug completely made the episode for me. It reminded me of a Sam and Dean hug. I cried it was so touching.

I'm very glad I stuck with the show right now, but I understand and respect why you feel that you cannot. I'm sorry you feel that way though :(

And sorry in advance if this pops up twice. My internet keeps crapping out on me.

Yeah, I bailed in Season one. I keep saying I don't do horror, and really, zombies are so much less attractive than romantic vampires or fuzzy werewolves.

Really, I admire the quality of the work the show has done, but it was too unrelentingly grim for me. So, what am I doing in SPN fandom for 12 years? IDK.
