Gee- we read a lot of the same books, I know almost everything on your list an it reminds me I have to read Alfred Bester again too. I haven't really found anything that grabs me like these guys did. Is it because I'm suffering from Granpa Syndrome? I just picked up A book of collected shorts, maybe I'll find someone who captures my interest.

In the meantime, may I suggest you check out

paragrapher's journal? he posts a little ficlet daily and often they're absolute gems.
