danceswithgary's cover post, and this is a lovely haunting story. So very scary in some ways -- the extreme future fics always grab me that way. This one was particularly eerie with the advanced humans keeping Clark as a playtoy for them "rescue me, Superman!" o.O How to completely cheapen something that used to be so precious. And Clark trying to escape time after time, even to die.

I did have to laugh a bit in satisfaction when their "program" of Lex Luthor ended up being smarter then they were and actually killing somebody. ;D Serves them right! And yay for it reawaking Clark's memories!

And Lex was there waiting for him. Beautiful ending, because now they *will* have a life together. ^^
