Due to heavy load on the servers currently, many users may receive an error page which contains:

"Sorry, database temporarily unavailable. Please see http://status.livejournal.org/ for status updates on LiveJournal."

This is an intermittent error which can generally be resolved by refreshing the page you were attempting to load as a temporary fix. System administrators are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it.
