Wow. I'd not really had that particular reaction in mind when I wrote this--but you're *so* right. God knows that I've had that reaction plenty of times. Sometimes, I've had to restrain myself from whacking someone right in their "happy little peoples" smile--maybe I was writing this on a subconcious level too!
