Are we talking back in season 5 AtS when he had the Spangel in that episode with Dru and for the love of God, I can't remember the name of it, or are we talking recent deveolpments?

Because I recall Joss saying cannon Spangel back then... always love hearing about it again and again, over and over though.

Really? This was apparently part of a commentary that I assume was on DVD, I haven't found anything else about it yet.
Joss said so in S5? They hinted broadly twice, in the Dru ep and also the last one I think. *weeps* I miss my show *so* much! Even when it was stupid, it was a good stupid.

I do remember back when they were doing season 5, Joss said something in an interview about Spangel being cannon and pointing to season 5 of AtS and season 2 of BtVS as examples.

I miss my show too. Can they bring it back yet?

You have to love the man! Remember how folks would scream for his blood? The BtVS'ers were spoiled rotten.Didn't they know BtVS resected *their* fans?

I mean, I remember making fun of Buffy--calling it Boofy and acting like I didn't care--so fresh, so innocent, I was!

And then --the fandom that eats it's young sunk it's hooks into me.I had *no*idea of the pain I would experience when I fell into SV. Thank God, I'm semi-masochistic.

For me it was confirmed during one of the last episodes of "Angel" and Spike was telling someone that he and Angel weren't lovers, then he said "Well, there WAS that one time."
