The enormous bulk hit the street, shaking the pavement and sending the gawking crowd screaming in all directions.Eventually the dust of pulverized pavement settled, and the air was filled with the moaning of the injured and a strange sparkly substance,that carried with it a fruity faint scent.
"Professor Wyndham-Pryce! To what do you attribute this horrible occurrence?"shouted cub-reporter Harris of the Daily Planet.The professor made no comment as he was led away by emergency technicians.He was visibly upset, his famous British reserve ruffled by the bizarre and frightening occurrence. His companion turned to the reporter, shifting his massive stogie from his lips to his hand.
"Look here kid, ole Wes there just had a shit-tastic day!He was kidnapped and possibly violated by that huge ape!" The world famous and extremley handsome adventurer Chuck Gunn barked out." Give him some breathing room!"
"But what can I tell my readers sir?They demand to know!"
" Tell them...tell them, it was beauty killed the beast. And now, I gotta go make sure that Wes wasn't damaged in...any way."
Cub reporter Harris (of the Daily Planet) watched Gunn move away. He rested a foot on the giant hair gelled lock that had separated from the massive do on the head of the fallen love-struck monster.The gigantic beast was strangely as expressive and animated in death as he had been in life.*
"Hmmm.Let's see, that beauty n'beast stuff, naw.." He scribbled furiously till he was satisfied.
" Yeah!Now *there's a headline that say's something! 'Wyndham-Pryce-I'm Nobody's Butt-Monkey!'"
* I adore Angel, unless you didn't recognize it was Angel in which case *snorf* butt- monkey....
