I got season five of SpN! I ripped it off the shelf like a crazy woman because, well, I'm a crazy woman. I had to wait this long for Target to restock it--we sold out on Tuesday, like in five minutes seemed like. Talk about pissed off! The nerve! So today I was happy and put myself in debt because I couldn't wait until I actually had money, lol!

I also spent a bazillion dollars on Mr. R's birthday present, a Blackberry something or other that does neat things, or so I'm told. The children and I have pooled our meager resources to gift him this uber cool phone that will make all the other kids think he's keen and want to hang out with him, or some such shit. The older you get, the more things stay the same.

Of course now if the kids try to bully him, he's mature enough to know that most guys his age, he can snap their necks like a twig, so he's cool. (i taught him that. when i met him he was all boo-hoo pacifistic, live and let live, can't we all just get along. yeah, i fixed that)

I've been trying to keep from watching the final ep of S5. I figured I'd watch one ep a night until the premiere, but I can't stop mainlining the damn things. No self control, that's always been my problem. *sigh* Oh well. You know what they say

And in conclusion, I missed y'all!

bedtime!

But first, let me tell you about this dream I had. It was about personalities and how bits pass down from parent to child, and it was Lex's child telling me this. He looked exactly like his father and I thought that he was probably a clone and didn't know it. He was first season Lex, all soft spoken and intense and dressed in black and purple. Very nice. He took me to see a light house and then climbed up the outside of it even though I was begging him not to. He said it was part of the process, that finding what he wanted wasn't worth it if it was easy. He almost slipped a few times, and then finally he found what he wanted and climbed back down. When he showed it to me I was nervous for some reason. It was a Russian icon, a small painting of Jesus, with gold doors that closed over the painting like shutters. Lex looked awed and very pleased and then I woke up.

Strange dream but it was nice to see Lex, even if it was his kid/clone. ;)

And now, I'm going to go pass out.
