This story is inspired by the movie Frequency

Notes/Warnings: Just the barest nod to medical conditions and research for them, as well as only cursory research into the lives of firefighters, no disrespect intended. Character death, but it's not a spoiler to say that the death is not permanent. I'm also warning about infidelity, references to underage sex and drug use, but it's more inferred than graphic. For those it matters to, Jared tops. And also sports a very chic skirt and jacket ensemble at one point.
