Well, there's this strange miscarriage of justice , for one...the fact that they seem to think Michael Jackson isn't a child molester. I think he is, mind you...nothing personal against the boy.

That's true on so many levels, you're gonna have to specify.

What makes it weird is not the MJ verdict, but that as a wealthy person he can buy a defense that could get a jury to arrive at it.

I think I'd still rather see one guilty man go free than one innocent man executed, but I'm not one of Michael Jackson's little buddies--or their parents.

*shakes head* I just don't know.

That's true, but that's always been true. I don't harbor any hatred towards Michael, it just seemed obvious to me, that he is a very damaged person. It would be better for all involved with him to keep him away from children. The parents of the children in this case were every bit as guilty as Jackson.

On a side note, his cult fan club members were truly...interesting.

Yeesh.

I think any parent who let's their kid hang out with the guy after this is an absolute idiot.

Yeah, the guy needs therapy, big time.

Yes, even though there's this part of me that almost feels it's not his fault, well, not completely. That guy never had a chance to be normal.

That's true, but jayzus. Can the guy not see how NOT normal he is?
I wonder at his own children's mental health.

You know--the only way I can handle that is not to think about it.*shiver*

M Jackson might very well be a molester of children but he was found not guilty in this particular case. Now if someone legitimate who was not seeking anything other then justice would come forward. I'm positive that this trial would have gone differently.

Good point. I didn't follow the trial (at all!), but I can just imagine the money-sniffing that was going on, for greedy parents to allow their sons to visit a grown man like that--and then again, when they sued.

Ugly business all around. I've always felt very sorry for MJ. A brilliant creative mind, broken.
