A line of mountains marched away in the distance and it looked magical and unreal, photos didn’t prepare him for the reality, the beauty. It was an amazing sight for a kid from Kansas.

You say this like Clark doesn't live a human-type short walk from the Great Kansas Mountain Range. ;-)
