The Fire Bird and the Grey Wolf is another one I've read more than once and found new things to like about it each time.
It's AU but brilliant TC and Lex and Clark are both nearly totally awful with hardly a redeeming characteristic between the two of them. It's set in Tzarist Russia at the turn of the last Century before the commies take over...
Extremely violent and graphic TC, not for the faint of heart.

I think Firebird and Gray Wolf is a great read, but it is very alternate universe so the characters are very out of character, but there are glimpses of Clark that could have been, if the monster that "raised" him hadn't found his ship...

I read The Fire Bird and the Grey Wolf last night and I must thank you for the recommendation. It was a phenomenol read! The TC was superb and yes, violent, but it didn't bother me in the least. I was enthralled. LOVED every bit of it!! I only wish she would repost the entire story under one link. The multiple link business was irritating.
Thanks much much!! Please, recommend more from Live Journal if you have any. That's one place I haven't read a thing.
