I like happy clex too, but angst just sticks in my mind more *g* I love Fire Bird and for a while, even when Alexei was in love, that didn't have him being all that nice to Kirill *chuckles* Maybe that's why there's part of me rooting for Lex/Lucas and thinking why not.
I mean what does Clark really know about the Lex in this universe? He saw Lex being drugged and taken advantage off, and makes it all about him and doesn't even stop to look outward a bit. I know that applies to Lucas a lot too, but Lucas is supposed to be a twisted sociapath so that's okay then *nods*
When a storyline focuses on a particular pairing, it doesn't all have to end with Clex to make me happy. Maybe there could be a threesome with Lucus seeing another side to Clark when he realises he's super, and then seducing Clark to join him and Lex...
I just know it's going to end with dead Lucas though :/
